Description of the change

Fix failure to install with kernel 3.2 (precise alpha 1) (LP: #576648)

Most duplicates of bug 576648 recently have come from users of precise-alpha-1 trying to install nvidia-173.

Alberto, this seems to have happened a few times where you commit fixes without knowledge of, or without updating the associated bug records. Please assign the relevant bugs to yourself in future if you're working on them, so other people don't waste time duplicating effort.
