- disabled ssl checks of curl since we don't send or receive login or other
  sensitive data.

- fixed two crashing bugs:
   - empty room.details arrays crashed `gmcp room
   - non-ASCII chars in gmcp messages could lead to a crash

- outputting an error to the user, if gmcp loading fails
