get_trans_stats in default mode (where neither translated, untranslated,
nor fuzzy is specified) now outputs untranslated and fuzzy (not just
untranslated). This is correct because the default stats should show how
many words need transaltion, and that is untranslated + fuzzy. - 13. By Kyle Nitzsche

* Add tools that report translation status in word counts (instead of
the usual message count) for either a single po file or a set:
- get_stats_from_po: Provides data from po file such as the number of
translatable words, number of messages, average words per message for the
following subsets of messages: translated, untransalted, fuzzy.
- get_trans_stats: Description: Prints to stdout a csv that reports
numbers of words untranslated or translated or fuzzy for a set of po files
in a directory you specify that whose ll or ll_CC are listed in a file you
specify.
* Rename all scripts in usr/bin to not use language-specific extensions and
correct all calls to these scripts (per Lintian warning:
Script-with-language- extension) - 11. By Kyle Nitzsche

translate_
gui_to_ show_domains. py:
Destructively re-translates all mo files in specified directory to insert the
gettext domain (the basename of the gettext file that provided it), thus
allowing the system user to discover the gettext domains of translations in
the system by visual inspection of the gui. One may optionally insert a prefix
into the translation to indicate the source of the translation, for example
'main' when modifying the dir in which lang pack translations are installed.
Backing up mo directory first highly recommended. Must be run as root. - 7. By Kyle Nitzsche

* add scripts to parse a directory of mallard .page files, extract all gui
terms (terms wraped in <gui> markup), and findis the most common translation
for each from the system, writing all results to a csv in pwd. Two scripts:
- get_mallard_gui_terms. sh: point it at a directory of page files and it
generates mallard_gui_terms in pwd
- get_mallard_gui_translation s.sh: assumed ^ ran in pwd. specify locale with
argument and generates gui_trans_LOCALE. csv, for example
gui_trans_zh_ CN.csv.
Naturally, one should have lang packs installed for the target locale.
