Looks nice. I have a question though: is all of this necessary? I recall that changing the max object size to 1G and cache spool dir to a few dozen gigabytes was enough for me.

That's right, only some suggestions to modify some options, I'll note which one is mandatory.

For the 30GB cache spool, if it's too small, the images will be in and out cache quickly, which can't be reserved for many boards to use, I think we need to maintain at least the amount of space which allows all board running simultaneously, that's board number multiply 1G.
