This is a technical gap, about how quickly we can land the SRU for thermald[1]. The SRU has been blocked due to concerns from SRU review[1].

Rex discussed with Michael Hudson-Doyle from the foundation team, that we need we needs
1) a better testing plan for thermald.
2) maybe create a hwe branch for thermald like linux-hwe (and other hwe stacks)
