This is a branch of the (unmaintained?) JID3 project, from http://jid3.blinkenlights.org, and contains updates to fix any problems I've found with it.

JID3 is a pure-Java library for manipulating ID3v1 and v2 tags on MP3 files. It is licensed under the LGPL.
