Ok, this makes sense. I checked that it's indeed unused currently - if there's any need it can be re-added later. Thanks!
That being said, the current merge is wrong as the target release (and version) should now be 'artful'. I'll sponsor this with those parts fixed and then maybe just push to bzr trunk directly. So probably don't worry about fixing this merge here.
