Add ability to pause/resume or stop snapshots already in progress (even if started by command line/scheduler)

Done::
Common:
- identify correct top level process to signal (worker_pid)
- identify all offspring processes of a process id
- signal pause/resume/stop all offspring of a process id
- do not signal worker_pid itself so that it can do cleanup
Gnome:
   - take snapshot button changes to pause and back again as appropriate
   - pause/resume/stop dialog
KDE:
   - take snapshot button changes to pause and back again as appropriate
   - pause/resume/stop dialog

ToDo:
- re-review/test
- investigate notification menu option
- consider extending to Restore
