530. By Chad Miller on 2010-12-15: The media player doesn't handle looking up sources by file name very well, when (AFAICT) the system has a open writing filehandle on that name. Instead, open it ourselves for reading and pass a file descriptor to the MediaPlayer as a source. (LP:654180)
