Add patch debian/patches/0001_gcc48-unused-local-typedefs.patch . Avoid
gcc-4.8 feature that errors on unused typedef.

* For multi-statement command in rules, don't seperate with semicolons. Use
  "&&" so they fail correctly. Update debian/rules .
