Branch is good.  I'd vote tweak on a few small, stylistic changes: 80 line
character breaks, the var name h should be history, and a single tab.

I'm not comfortable with the h arg.  Could it be more detailed.  I realize that
it was there before, but if we're going to go ahead and change the method
signature, it might be a good idea to change that as well.
